Acting Online in Coronavirus Pandemic

As you know, most of our daily activities is online now. Shopping, education and remote working is an acceptable and in some cases prefarable way of doing our daily works. Thus, we should be more careful about the security concerns related to cyber space. Please note the following tips to better protect yourself online.

Online meetings / classrooms

1- Disable your mic and webcam when not necessary. If you need webcam, make sure sensitive info cannot be observed.

2- Use an online system with password to conduct a meeting so guest access is blocked.

Online shopping

1- Do your shoppings only from highly credited online stores

2- Protect your card and other sensitive info

3- Be careful of phishing attacks. In payments, double check the URL you are visiting to prevent phishing sites
